The Facilities & Construction Department is tasked with overseeing the planning, design, development and construction management for all modernization and new construction projects throughout The District. The Department manages all capital improvement projects funded primarily through Measure G funds and is also supported by District supplied resources such as developer fees, routine restricted maintenance (RRM), local and state grants, and State Facility funds. The Department also works closely with the Maintenance, Operations and Transportation departments to ensure that RRM funds are utilized effectively during construction.
 
Our department consists of Director, Sharon Trieu-Quince, Project Manager, Lynn Novak, (Elementary, Alma Pre-School, Middle Schools, CVHS, Redwood HS & CVACE), Budget Analyst, Olive Chin and Department Specialist, Carly Mello.
