6th Grade Middle School Application Timeline for the 2026-2027 School Year

The Middle School Application opend on Monday February 9^th, 2026 at 8:30 AM and closed on Friday, March 6^th, 2026 at 3:30 PM.

Due to the number of applications for Creekside Middle School exceeding the available space, a public random selection process was held to fill open seats and create a waitlist on Friday, March 27, 2026.

The spaces highlighted in green below reflect the student’s placement at Creekside Middle School. The spaces highlighted in blue represent student’s placed on the waitlist.

Families will receive an email confirming the selection on Monday, March 30th. 

The video for the process will be posted soon. 

• Families can attend informational sessions at Canyon and Creekside and current 5th grade students will have a chance to watch an informational video of the two schools in class prior to the application opening (Fifth Grade Family Information Night flyer).

• The application link will be posted above, on the CVUSD Enrollment Webpage and will be sent to all current 5th grade families ahead of time.
• 5th grade siblings of current 6th and 7th grade middle school students are guaranteed enrollment at their sibling’s school for the 2026-2027 school year only if an Application is received between Monday, February 9^th and Friday, March 6^th. 
• Should there be more applications for a school than there are available spaces, a random selection process will be held to assign spaces and establish a waitlist in accordance with CVUSD Policy.
• If there are more applications than spaces available, and the random selection process is required, non-resident students cannot be included in the process.
