🍋 Tiny fruit, big burst of flavor!

November’s Harvest of the Month is finger limes—and they are available on CVUSD school salad bars this week!

When cut open, these unique citrus fruits reveal tiny, pearl-like pieces that burst with a sharp, tangy blend of lemon, lime and grapefruit, with herbaceous, minty or floral notes.

This month’s finger limes come from Shanley Farms in Morro Bay, California, where layered agriculture practices help maximize land use by growing complementary crops together.

Encourage your student to give finger limes a try this week—while supplies last!
